An orthomosaic image is a detailed, large-scale map where each pixel holds geolocation coordinates so the image is as accurate as a map. This is achieved by stitching together high-resolution photos taken by a drone, then correcting the perspective to create a true-to-scale 2D representation of the surveyed area.
This can be especially useful when inspecting large roofs or facades which have regular features repeated. Looking at the ortho allows you to pinpoint
Using drones allows Drone Site Surveys to safely capture data from inaccessible or hazardous areas without putting personnel at risk.
